Hello and good evening to you all. I hope that you are all well and ready for the weekend. I only have one card to show you tonight, even though I have been busy making a few cards today.
My card is for the Challenge over at http://www.cupcakecraftchallenges.blogspot.com/
This week it is Challenge #86 and the theme is CHILDHOOD MEMORIES. This is my entry.
I have used an A5 size and the base card is yellow. Onto that, I added a panel of red leaving just a narrow border. This was then edged with a glod floral decorative border to highlight.
Then I made a decorative border using a Martha Stewart STRUNG LACE punch. This was done on a designer paper from the Dovecraft Abstract Prints pack. I did the border up each edge and then this was placed toward the left of the card.
I then made a yellow and red handmade flower and placed that at the top of the border.
For the image, I chose one from THE STAMPING BOUTIQUE called LITTLE GIRL WITH A STROLLER. What happy memories this has for me.
When I was a little girl, I used to love my dolls and pram. We used to go for walks to the nearby park. My Grandma used to knit all my dollies outfits, they were beautiful.
I coloured the image with Copics and Spica Atyou glitter pens, added some stars for a 3D effect and then trimmed the edge with deckle scissors. I then placed this on the card with sticky pads.
I do hope that you like my card. If you would like to comment, then that would be lovely and very much appreciated. Happy crafting everyone and have a great weekend.
With love, Sandra xx

You always make the sweetest handmade flowers. This image is darling! I love the colors you chose. I was a baby doll girl myself. My mom crocheted and I loved dressing my babies. I also dressed and walked my kitty cats. lol
Hope you have a beautiful weekend my sweet!
I love that image Sandra and the rich colours set her off perfectly.
Have a good weekend.

Beautiful card Sandra, I love the colours you have used.
The border, ribbon and flower look devine.
Your placing of the stars around the image made me think this image could be used for a Christmas card with snowflakes.
